Requests the Office of the State Fire Marshal to convene an Electric Vehicle Fires Working Group to address risks from lithium-ion battery fires in electric vehicles

Working group membership includes the State Fire Marshal (as chair), Insurance Commissioner, Comptroller, Public Utilities Commission chair, and representatives from each county's facility maintenance and building permitting agencies

Invites additional members from the commercial parking structure and condominium industries to participate

Report due to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2027 Regular Session with findings and recommendations

Recommendations must address updating State Fire Code, Building Code, and Electrical Code for parking structure resilience, additional firefighter training, and any proposed legislation
