Requests the Hawaii Department of Defense to convene a working group to develop recommendations for a State of Hawaii Commemorative Vietnam Veterans Medal for veterans living in Hawaii.

The working group would be chaired by the Adjutant General and include representatives from the Hawaii National Guard, Office of Veterans' Services, Vietnam Veterans of America chapters, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and other veterans' organizations.

The group is tasked with developing eligibility criteria, verification steps, application processes, and design recommendations for the commemorative medal.

A report with findings, recommendations, proposed legislation, and estimated costs for outreach, design, production, and implementation is due 20 days before the 2027 Legislative Session.

The working group would be dissolved on June 30, 2028.
