Urges the Department of Land and Natural Resources and Department of Transportation to determine and clearly define which agency has jurisdictional responsibility for Honopou Bridge on Honopou Road in east Maui.

Honopou Bridge was designed in 1990 with a load capacity of approximately 5 tons, which is insufficient for modern fire apparatus and emergency vehicles; the Department of Transportation recommended increasing capacity to approximately 20 tons.

Requests both departments conduct community outreach, assess the bridge's structural condition and emergency access needs, and develop a coordinated repair, rehabilitation, or replacement plan to accommodate emergency response vehicles.

Calls for identification of estimated costs and potential funding sources, including capital improvement project funding and federal disaster mitigation programs.

Requires a report of findings and implementation timeline to be submitted to the Legislature no later than 20 days prior to the Regular Session of 2027.
