Requests the City and County of Honolulu to plan, design, and construct a community recreation complex in ʻEwa Beach at or near Puʻuloa District Park

The ʻEwa region population is estimated to exceed 85,000 residents, with existing park facilities frequently overcrowded and unable to keep pace with community needs

Proposed twenty-acre complex would include basketball courts, volleyball courts, pickleball courts, soccer fields, baseball/softball fields, a gymnasium, playgrounds, walking paths, and community meeting space

Directs the City and County Department of Parks and Recreation to work with the State of Hawaiʻi, community organizations, and residents to evaluate potential locations, facility needs, and funding opportunities

Certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Mayor of the City and County of Honolulu and Director of Parks and Recreation
