Urges state agencies owning land in West Maui, including Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation, Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, and Department of Land and Natural Resources, to immediately identify and remove hazardous vegetation and invasive grasses to reduce wildfire risk in Lahaina and surrounding communities.

Calls for establishing defensible space, fuel breaks, and fuel-modification measures on state lands bordering residential areas, schools, temporary housing for wildfire survivors, and evacuation corridors.

Requests inspection and maintenance of emergency access roads, fire lanes, and secondary evacuation routes, with improvements coordinated through the Office of the State Fire Marshal, Department of Transportation, and Maui Emergency Management Agency.

Prioritizes parcels near Lahaina Civic Center, Leialii, Lahainaluna, Princess Nahienaena Elementary, and Lahaina Intermediate School where vegetation and limited evacuation routes pose dangers.

Requires applicable state agencies to submit a report on their wildfire mitigation efforts to the Legislature by December 31, 2026.
