Urges all business and commercial establishments operating on Department of Hawaiian Home Lands to display a portrait of Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole in a visible and prominent location

Honors Prince Kūhiō's legacy as the architect of the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act of 1921, which set aside 200,000 acres of land for Native Hawaiian homesteads

Recognizes Prince Kūhiō's service as Hawaii's territorial delegate beginning in 1902 and his accomplishments including establishing Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and securing $27 million for Pearl Harbor construction

Notes the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands currently manages 203,981 acres of trust lands with 10,045 homestead leases and over 47,000 pending applications from nearly 29,500 Native Hawaiian beneficiaries

Directs certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Director of the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands and each member of the Hawaiian Homes Commission
