Hawaii House Resolution congratulating the top four teams at the 2026 Hawaiʻi LifeSmarts State Competition, a student competition testing knowledge of personal finance, consumer rights, health and safety, technology, and the environment

ʻIolani School's team "ʻIolani Raiders" (captain James Chen, Donovan Kwan, Dominic Nakama, Henry Li, Inseo Kim; coach Kit-U Wong) won first place

Kalani High School's team "Kalani 7.0" (captain Brandalyn Tran, Michelle Kabasawa, Nicole Du, Zachary Li, Cristian Matache; coach Susan Hori) secured second place

Waipahu High School placed third and fourth with teams "Waipahu 2" and "Waipahu 5," both coached by Cindy Takara

The competition is run by the National Consumers League and sponsored in Hawaiʻi by the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs with support from the Hawaii Credit Union League
