Responds to the federal policy that discharges transgender service members and pauses all gender-affirming medical procedures and hormone therapies for active-duty personnel.

Asserts the federal ban undermines force readiness, destabilizes unit cohesion, and wastes Department of Defense resources by removing qualified personnel.

Requests the Governor take action to permit qualified transgender service members to continue their service in the Hawaiʻi National Guard despite the federal policy.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Governor and the Adjutant General of the Hawaiʻi National Guard.
