Urges the City and County of Honolulu Department of Transportation Services to install raised crosswalks at three intersections along Hihiwai Street: University Avenue, Lauiki Street, and Kamoku Street.

The intersections serve as key pedestrian corridors to Ala Wai Elementary School, Ala Wai Park, and ʻIolani School in a high-density residential area with heavy foot traffic from schoolchildren, kupuna, and families.

Current safety concerns include confusing three-way stops at two intersections and only a single stop sign with a painted crosswalk at the Lauiki Street intersection, leaving it vulnerable to speeding.

Raised crosswalks physically slow vehicles, improve pedestrian visibility, and align with Honolulu's Vision Zero goals to eliminate traffic fatalities and serious injuries.

Certified copies would be transmitted to the Mayor, District 5 City Councilmember, Department of Transportation Services Director, Honolulu Police Chief, and principals of Ala Wai Elementary and ʻIolani School.
