Requires the University of Hawaii Board of Regents to waive all tuition and mandatory fees for resident students in the College of Education at UH Manoa during the semester they complete their student teaching requirement

Eligibility requires students to be enrolled full-time in good academic standing, pursuing a degree in education that requires student teaching hours, and participating in a state-approved teacher education program

Directs the university to adopt administrative rules to implement the tuition waiver program

Takes effect upon approval
