Requires the Department of Accounting and General Services to conduct a feasibility study on establishing dedicated child care centers in state buildings

Study must identify program philosophy, regulatory requirements, and criteria for selecting suitable facilities based on factors including child safety, location, available space, outdoor recreation areas, and parking for drop-offs/pick-ups

Study must develop design criteria covering classroom sizes, bathroom facilities, food preparation requirements, storage, and indoor/outdoor recreation spaces

Study must prepare cost estimates for planning, design, and construction of an average child care center in a state building and identify which agency should administer the program

Report with findings and recommendations due to the legislature no later than 20 days before the 2027 regular session; effective date January 1, 2491
