Prohibits landlords or their agents from charging application fees when a comprehensive reusable tenant screening report is made available and received within 30 days

Requires landlords or their agents to provide applicants, upon request, with certified copies of their criminal background checks and credit reports that are less than 30 days old

Aims to reduce the financial burden on low-income households and people experiencing homelessness who must apply to multiple rental units in Hawaii's competitive housing market

Takes effect July 1, 2050
