Transfers the Ewa Beach public and school library from the Hawaii State Public Library System to James Campbell High School, located at 91-950 North Road, Ewa Beach

The library, opened August 28, 1971, currently operates limited hours: Mondays-Tuesdays 12-4pm and 5-7pm, Wednesdays-Thursdays 9am-1pm and 2-4pm, Fridays 12-4pm, closed weekends

Current operating hours make it difficult for students at James Campbell High School, Pohakea Elementary School, and Ilima Intermediate School to access the library

All civil service employees will retain their status, salary, seniority, leave credits, and benefits upon transfer within the Department of Education

All appropriations, records, equipment, books, documents, and property related to the library transfer with the functions they support
