Requires Hawaii public schools to provide mandatory artificial intelligence literacy courses for 11th and 12th grade students beginning with the 2027-2028 school year, with a passing grade required for graduation.

The minimum six-week curriculum must cover AI fundamentals, machine learning, generative AI, ethical implications, best practices for academic and professional use, and connections to Hawaii's history, environment, and culture.

Establishes an Advisory Council for Artificial Intelligence Education composed of local AI industry representatives to develop teacher certification programs, provide continuing education, and curate resources for schools.

Creates a three-year AI Education Grant Pilot Program within the Department of Education to fund teacher training and development of culturally responsive curriculum materials, with $5,000,000 appropriated for fiscal year 2026-2027.

Requires each public school to develop an AI policy in consultation with parents and the local community outlining acceptable and ethical AI use by students and staff.
