Requires Huli Au Ola, Maui County Area Health Education Center, to conduct a study on recruiting and retaining physicians and dentists to serve the island of Molokai, which has approximately 7,000 residents and is the most underserved area in Maui County for non-primary care physicians and dentists.

The study must address recruitment, retention, housing availability, transportation, airline availability, partnerships, communication, and evaluation processes.

Appropriates an unspecified amount from general revenues as a grant to Huli Au Ola for fiscal year 2026-2027, to be expended through the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine.

Requires Huli Au Ola to submit findings, recommendations, and proposed legislation to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2027 regular session.

Effective date is July 1, 2026.
