Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 514B-101 to explicitly require condominium associations, boards of directors, and managing agents to comply with all applicable county, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations

Reinforces that while condominiums operate under self-governance principles, the powers of associations, boards, and managing agents are not unlimited

Addresses the need for board members and managing agents to understand their legal compliance obligations for the well-being of residents and long-term sustainability of associations

Effective date is July 1, 2050
