Aligns the Campaign Spending Commission executive director's salary with the State Ethics Commission executive director's salary to improve recruitment and retention of experienced oversight staff.

Establishes the associate director position salary at no more than 87% of the executive director's salary, with the executive director having authority to set other employee compensation within legislative appropriations.

Grants the executive director, associate director, and full-time commission staff eligibility to participate in state employee benefit programs.

Appropriates an unspecified sum from general revenues for fiscal year 2026-2027 to fund salary increases and cost adjustments for commission staff excluded from collective bargaining.

Takes effect July 1, 2026.
