Mandates cardiovascular screening for all public school students as part of annual well-child visits, with results reported to school officials.

Screenings must include personal health history (blood pressure, chest pain, syncope), family cardiac history (cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, sudden death), and physical examination for heart murmurs, irregular rhythms, and abnormal pulses.

Requires the Department of Education and Department of Health to distribute educational materials about sudden cardiac arrest to students, families, and parents of student athletes.

Directs the Department of Health to implement training and continuing education for healthcare providers on cardiovascular screening guidelines and to publish annual reports on screening totals, referrals, and outcomes.
