Named "Officer O's Crime Bill" in memory of Officer Suzanne O, establishing a mandatory minimum 20-year prison sentence without possibility of parole for certain class A felony firearm offenses

Elevates felon-in-possession of firearms or ammunition from a class B felony to a class A felony for those previously convicted of a felony, crime of violence, firearms-related offense, or drug distribution

Makes possession or control of firearms by persons under court protective orders or restraining orders a class A felony, upgraded from a misdemeanor

Increases penalties for carrying a firearm while under the influence of controlled substances from a misdemeanor to a class A felony, and adds unlawful possession of methamphetamine while carrying a firearm as a new class A felony

Takes effect March 22, 2075
