Establishes the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias Research Center of Hawaii as an organized research unit within the University of Hawaii, administratively affiliated with the John A. Burns School of Medicine.

Positions the center as the first phase toward achieving National Institute on Aging designation as an Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, which would enable major federal funding.

Authorizes staffing of up to 6 full-time equivalent positions including a senior clinician scientist, coordinator, clinical research nurse, and junior faculty investigators including a part-time neuropathologist.

Requires the center to focus on Hawaii's unique Asian American and Pacific Islander populations to study genetic, cultural, and environmental factors distinct from mainland research, while collaborating with Kuakini Health System, Hawaii Pacific Health, and Queen's Health Systems.

Appropriates unspecified general funds for fiscal year 2026-2027 and requires annual legislative reports on research activities, progress toward federal designation, expenditures, and community outreach efforts.
