Appropriates unspecified funding from general revenues for fiscal year 2026-2027 to continue the food hub pilot program established under Act 313, Session Laws of Hawaii 2022.

Funds will support grants to qualifying food hubs that connect local farmers directly to consumers, schools, and institutions.

Department of Agriculture and Biosecurity will administer the appropriated funds.

Addresses Hawaii's food security vulnerabilities stemming from heavy reliance on imported food, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic and federal cuts to agricultural and nutrition programs.

Effective date is July 1, 2050.
