Extends the sunset date for domestic violence provisions from June 30, 2026 to June 30, 2031 for section 709-906 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes regarding abuse of family or household members.

Maintains the petty misdemeanor offense classification for certain abuse of family or household member cases established under Act 19 (2020) and Act 238 (2021).

Preserves the availability of deferred acceptance of guilty plea for misdemeanor and petty misdemeanor abuse of family or household members offenses for an additional five years.

Takes effect on June 29, 2026, one day before the original sunset date would have repealed these provisions.
