Requires the Hawaii Department of Education to embed financial literacy instruction into existing high school courses (grades 9-12) such as economics and business courses, beginning with the 2027-2028 school year.

Department must publish by December 31, 2026 a list of identified courses, ensure alignment with financial literacy standards, and provide implementation guidance including minimum content expectations and student completion documentation requirements.

Board of Education must provide professional development for teachers (workshops, summer training, coaching, online modules) before they implement the embedded financial literacy instruction.

Department may partner with public agencies and private/nonprofit organizations for instructional materials and training, provided all content remains noncommercial and free from advertising.

Appropriates unspecified general fund amount for fiscal year 2026-2027 to cover teacher professional development, instructional resource development, and implementation support.
