State and county-owned vehicles purchased on or after January 1, 2028, must use audible reverse warning systems with broadband technology rather than traditional beeping sounds

The Director of Transportation may grant exemptions to agencies that demonstrate good faith efforts to comply but cannot due to unavailability of broadband warning systems

"Vehicle" includes earthmoving and construction equipment such as scrapers, loaders, tractors, bulldozers, off-highway trucks, graders, and similar equipment

The Director of Transportation must maintain a publicly accessible record of all exemptions, updated biannually, with reports submitted to the legislature 30 days before each regular session and 60 days after adjournment

Effective date of July 1, 3000 (placeholder date indicating the bill requires further amendment before implementation)
