Appropriates funds to create one full-time permanent Marketing and Branding Specialist position within the Hawaii Technology Development Corporation for fiscal year 2026-2027.

The Advanced Manufacturing and Cybersecurity Specialist will support activities previously funded by the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Manufacturing Extension Partnership, provide technical assistance to Hawaii manufacturers, and support workforce development and federal grant competitiveness.

The Marketing and Branding Specialist will manage public outreach, promote technology programs and facilities, support conferences and talent-attraction initiatives, and strengthen the state's technology ecosystem branding.

Effective date is July 1, 2050 (placeholder date); specific appropriation dollar amounts are left blank in the bill.
