Administrative driver's license revocation takes automatic effect 30 days after issuance of a Notice of Administrative Revocation for alcohol-related offenses, or 44 days for drug-related offenses.

Revocation remains in effect until the Administrative Driver's License Revocation Office either affirms or rescinds it, rather than the previous framework where revocation was imposed after review.

Respondents may submit written information to contest revocation via mail, electronic mail, or in person within 3 days for alcohol offenses or 17 days for drug offenses.

Administrative review decisions must be mailed within 14 days for alcohol-related offenses or 28 days for drug-related offenses, with hearings scheduled no later than 25 or 39 days respectively if requested within 6 days.

Failure to request a hearing within the specified timeframe causes the revocation to remain in effect under the conditions set in the administrative review decision.
