Requires all public and private schools serving grades 6-12 that issue student identification cards to print mental health and suicide prevention hotline information on the cards, beginning with the 2025-2026 school year

Mandates inclusion of the national 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline number, the Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741), and state or local mental health program contact numbers

Schools with existing supplies of non-compliant student ID cards as of January 1, 2025 may continue issuing them until the supply is depleted

Requirements apply to first-time student ID cards and replacements for damaged or lost cards

Schools that knowingly violate the requirements face a civil penalty of up to $100 per offense
