Establishes a working group within the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation to identify existing mixed-use developments in Maui County that could be acquired for affordable housing and commercial rental leases

Working group consists of 7 members including the HHFDC board chairperson, Maui County housing director, REALTORS Association of Maui president, and representatives from housing nonprofits and residents with relevant expertise

Members serve without compensation but receive reimbursement for reasonable expenses including travel

Working group must submit findings, recommendations, and proposed legislation to the legislature no later than 20 days before the 2026 regular session

Working group dissolves upon adjournment of the 2026 regular legislative session
