Expands the School Facilities Authority's responsibilities to include development, planning, and construction of prekindergarten, preschool, and child care facilities, as well as workforce housing for educators and education workers

Authorizes the Authority to use the Department of Education (in addition to the Department of Human Resources Development) for recruiting, hiring, and retaining employees, architects, engineers, and technical positions

Permits the Authority to partner with public and private development agencies to develop prekindergarten facilities, in addition to existing authority for housing and classroom partnerships

Exempts School Facilities Authority Board workgroups and subcommittees from most Sunshine Law requirements under Chapter 92, while maintaining compliance with permitted interaction provisions

Takes effect July 1, 2025
