Requests the Department of Education to create a plan to eliminate processed meats from school meals by 2032, or alternatively to offer whole-foods or minimally processed plant-based alternatives

Cites the World Health Organization's classification of processed meats (hot dogs, bacon, deli meats, ham, pepperoni) as Group 1 carcinogens, with sodium nitrite and sodium nitrate forming cancer-causing nitrosamines

Requires the plan to include an inventory of current menu items with processed meats, a phase-out timeline, nutritional standards for replacements, and cost estimates with funding opportunities

Department of Education must submit a report with findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2027 Regular Session

Directs certified copies to be sent to the Governor, Board of Education Chairperson, Superintendent, Director of Health, and Director of School Food Services Branch
