Urges the Hawaii Department of Education to strengthen menstrual health education and adopt a comprehensive curriculum for students in grades 5, 8, and 12.

Calls for curriculum based on four pillars of menstrual dignity: privacy, inclusivity, access, and education, with culturally responsive and gender-affirming content.

Requires age-appropriate instruction including Native Hawaiian cultural practices, use of anatomically correct diagrams, menstrual products demonstration, and menstruation-positive library books.

Cites data showing only 8% of Hawaii school faculty surveyed believed current period education was adequate, while 50% of students said it was not (2022 Hoohanohano Initiative pilot program).

Requests the Department of Education submit a progress report with findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2027 Regular Session.
