Requests the Legislative Reference Bureau to study the cost and scope of conducting a comprehensive statewide survey of Māhū, LGBTQIA+, and Queer/Trans Pacific Islander (QTPI+) communities in Hawaii.

The proposed survey would collect data on population size, health care access, mental health outcomes, economic stability, educational attainment, housing security, and experiences of discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.

The study must include methodological recommendations that honor Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander cultural protocols, knowledge systems, and community engagement practices.

Requires assessment of data privacy protections, identification of potential funding sources, and opportunities for collaboration with community organizations, advocacy groups, and academic institutions.

The Legislative Reference Bureau must submit findings and cost estimates to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the Regular Session of 2027 convenes.
