Requests the State Auditor to assess the social and financial effects of expanding mandated health insurance coverage for autism diagnosis and treatment under S.B. No. 2204

Current law limits autism-related insurance coverage, including applied behavioral analysis, to individuals under 14 years of age with a $25,000 annual cap

The proposed expansion would repeal both the age limit and the $25,000 maximum benefit cap for applied behavioral analysis services

Auditor's report with findings and recommendations must be submitted to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the Regular Session of 2027

Certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Auditor and Insurance Commissioner
