Requests the State Fire Marshal to appoint a hydrogen fire safety expert to oversee implementation of hydrogen fuel production, storage, and distribution facilities and ensure compliance with current fire safety standards.

Requires the hydrogen fire safety expert to hold safety trainings at least twice per year.

Directs the State Fire Marshal to provide ongoing training to county fire departments and building inspectors on hydrogen-related safety protocols.

Notes that Hawaii's State Fire Marshal position was abolished in 1979 and recently reestablished through Act 209 (2024) and Act 302 (2025) following the 2023 Maui wildfires.
