College Student Aid Commission must collect a single, nonrefundable annual authorization fee from postsecondary educational entities exempt from registration under Code chapter 261B or those operating under Code section 714.18

Entities with primary location in Iowa pay $2,000 annually; entities with primary location outside Iowa pay $3,500 annually

Fee amounts take effect beginning fiscal year July 1, 2025, with the commission authorized to increase fees annually by up to 3 percent

Driver education providers under section 321.178 are excluded from the authorization fee requirement

"Primary location" is defined as the physical location of an entity's main campus or corporate office if no physical campus exists
