Defines "mandatory fee" as any required fee to complete a purchase, unavoidable fees, or fees a reasonable consumer would not expect to be included.

Applies to accommodations booking platforms, homestay platforms, hotel platforms, ticketing platforms (primary and secondary market), and food delivery providers operating in Iowa.

Violations constitute consumer fraud under Iowa Code chapter 714, with civil penalties of $1,000 per violation plus restitution, enforced by the Attorney General.
