Sex offenders convicted of any subsequent sex offense, including previously expunged convictions, who are already required to register must register for life and are permanently ineligible to apply for removal from the registry.

Photographs of sex offenders must be updated at minimum annually, taken with the offender fully facing the camera with eyes open.

Photographs displaying distortions, glare, or blurring must be retaken; sheriffs must submit updated photos to the department within five business days for posting on the registry website.

Sex offenders with any history of recidivism involving sex offenses, including previously expunged convictions, are ineligible for modification of their registration requirements.
