Amends Iowa Code section 147.74 to change the professional title "physician assistant" to "physician associate" for individuals licensed under chapter 148C.

Declares that "physician assistant," "physician associate," and "P.A." are synonymous terms, and all existing rights and responsibilities remain unaffected by the title change.

Prohibits discrimination against individuals solely based on their use of the title "physician associate" in employment, contracting, or other professional relationships.

Directs the Iowa Code editor to update all references to "physician assistant" throughout approximately 150 specified Code sections to "physician associate."

Requires state agencies to amend sub-regulatory guidance, documents, and forms to reflect the title change by January 1, 2027, and allows administrative rules to be updated editorially without following standard rulemaking procedures.
