Aggravated eluding is classified as a class "D" felony, punishable by up to 5 years confinement and a fine between $1,025 and $10,245

Authorizes Iowa peace officers in fresh pursuit of a driver suspected of eluding or aggravated eluding to continue pursuit across state lines and make arrests in the other state, subject to that state's laws

Defines "fresh pursuit" as pursuit without unreasonable delay, not requiring immediate or continuous visual contact with the fleeing vehicle

Requires interstate arrests to be promptly reported to authorities in the state where the arrest occurs, with the arrested driver subject to extradition under Iowa Code chapter 820
