Amends Section 902.7 to change the mandatory minimum sentence for forcible felonies committed with a dangerous weapon from five years to one-half of the sentence imposed by law.

Amends Section 902.8 to require habitual offenders (persons convicted of a class "C" or "D" felony with two prior felony convictions) to serve one-half of their sentence before parole eligibility, replacing the previous three-year minimum.

Amends Section 902.8A to change the mandatory minimum for first-time violations involving conspiracy to manufacture or deliver amphetamine/methamphetamine to minors from ten years to one-half of the sentence imposed.

Amends Section 902.12 to change parole eligibility for child endangerment convictions from three-tenths to one-half of the maximum sentence term.

Amends Section 902.13 to change parole eligibility for third or subsequent domestic abuse assault offenses from one-fifth to one-half of the maximum sentence term.
