Expands the class "D" felony for purchasing or offering to purchase sex acts from minors to include cases where the person is "reasonably believed" to be under age 18, not just when they actually are under 18

Explicitly covers law enforcement officers or agents posing as minors under 18 in sting operations, making it a felony to solicit them

Class "D" felony carries a penalty of up to 5 years confinement and a fine between $1,025 and $10,245

Amends Iowa Code Section 725.1, subsection 2, paragraph b (prostitution statute)
