Requires health insurers offering individual, group, or small group plans in Iowa to provide coverage for diagnosis and treatment of PANS (Pediatric Acute-Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome), PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections), and postinfectious autoimmune encephalopathy.

Covered treatments may include antibiotics, drugs and behavioral therapies for neuropsychiatric symptoms, plasma exchange, and immunoglobulin, when recommended as medically necessary by a health care professional.

Prohibits insurers from denying or delaying coverage because the patient previously received treatment for these conditions or has been diagnosed with other medical conditions.

Coverage cannot be limited over a patient's lifetime unless the policy period ends or the health care professional determines treatment is no longer beneficial.

Applies to policies delivered, issued, continued, or renewed on or after January 1, 2027, and requires the Insurance Commissioner to adopt administrative rules to implement the requirements.
