Amends Iowa Code section 22.7, subsection 11 to expand public records requirements for government employee separations

Requires disclosure of the last date a resigned or discharged government employee, contractor, or appointee actually performed work or carried out essential job functions

Makes public the specific reasons a government body terminated a contract, at-will employment, or engagement, including details of any alleged misconduct or breach of contract

Mandates disclosure of all severance payments, continuation pay, and benefits provided beyond compensation earned for work performed prior to separation

Applies regardless of whether separation information is contained in written documents, contracts, agreements, or informal arrangements
