Designated areas include sinkholes, cisterns, abandoned wells, unplugged agricultural drainage wells, drinking water wells, and protected wetlands

The map is designed to help users apply manure efficiently while reducing runoff risks by adjusting application rates and timing

Persons completing manure management plans (for confinement feeding operations) or nutrient management plans (for open feedlot operations) must verify they consulted the map prior to application
