Amends Iowa Code Section 21.4 to specify three required methods for public notice of governmental body meetings: advising news media who have filed notice requests, posting in a prominent location annually designated by the governmental body that is visible at all times, and posting on any internet site maintained by the governmental body

Requires governmental bodies to annually designate a prominent, conspicuous, and easily accessible location for posting meeting notices, replacing the current requirement to post at the principal office or meeting building

Mandates that amended tentative agendas be marked "AMENDED" with the changed provisions identified, followed by providing new notice through all required channels

Applies to electronic meetings of governmental bodies under Code section 21.8, which must comply with the same public notice requirements

Extends notice requirements to public appointment and employment notices under veterans preference law (Code section 35C.1) and whole grade sharing agreements under Code section 282.11
