Amends Iowa Code Section 80.6 to establish a salary structure for Department of Public Safety peace officers based on rank, with each grade receiving a percentage increase over the grade below it.

Sergeants receive annual base salary 15% greater than senior troopers; lieutenants receive 10% greater than sergeants.

Captains and special agents in charge receive 10% greater than lieutenants; majors and assistant directors receive 10% greater than captains.

Colonels and directors receive annual base salary 15% greater than majors or assistant directors.

Sworn supervisors, including conservation officer supervisors, receive the same wage, step, and merit increases negotiated under Chapter 20 collective bargaining between the state and the State Police Officers Council labor union.
