Amends Iowa Code Section 22.7, subsection 11, to expand what employment information must be treated as public record rather than confidential personnel records

Requires public disclosure of the last date a government employee, contractor, or appointee who resigned or was discharged actually performed work or carried out essential job functions

Mandates disclosure of all moneys and public benefits provided for continuation of pay, severance, or other compensation exceeding amounts owed for work performed prior to separation

Applies to employees, contractors, and appointees of government bodies regardless of whether the separation terms are contained in a written document, contract, agreement, or arrangement
