Permits construction of enclosed structures on private docks by holders of valid dock site permits and hoist or slip assignments to protect marine equipment

Enclosed structures must be built with rust-resistant materials, be no more than 30 feet wide, and no more than 20 feet above normal water elevation

Structures cannot contain plumbing, electricity, or enclosed storage areas unless they comply with state plumbing and building codes, and must be used solely for supporting marine equipment

Structures cannot be used for sleeping or habitation purposes

Dock owners must maintain liability insurance with minimum coverage of $1 million per occurrence and are liable for any damages caused by the enclosed structure
