Expands eligibility for depredation permits and deer shooting permits from landowners experiencing specific crop, tree, or nursery damage to landowners or tenants suffering economic losses of $1,000 or more to agriculture, horticulture, or silviculture operations due to wild animals

Authorizes conservation officers to issue depredation permits under the wild animal depredation program

Creates an annual deer depredation season from January 11 through January 31 for holders of valid depredation licenses and tags or deer shooting permits issued on or after February 1 of the preceding year

Permits use of rifles with department-approved cartridges, shotguns, muzzleloaders, handguns, crossbows, or bows during the deer depredation season

Allows deer taken under a depredation license or shooting permit to be disposed of by composting or wastage if taken by the permit holder themselves
