Increases the penalty for knowingly disseminating or exhibiting obscene material to a minor from a serious misdemeanor to a class "D" felony

Class "D" felony is punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine between $1,025 and $10,245

Applies to any person other than the parent or guardian of the minor who displays obscene material where it can be observed by a minor on or off the premises

Conviction under this statute constitutes a tier I sex offense requiring registration as a sex offender for 10 years
